The rising sun stretches its warmth across a pastel sky as you catch glimpses of the Gulf. You listen to the waves tumble upon the beach. The soft scent of jasmine gardens touches the air. You sip coffee while relaxing on your patio outside the Anna Maria Island House, thinking, "Every morning should be this perfect."

The Anna Maria Island House rests conveniently in the quaint historic section of Bradenton Beach. A short walk across the palm tree lined street and you're on the beautiful Coquina Beach, sinking your feet into the soft, white sand. Stay there for the day or walk to Historic Bridge Street. Enjoy nearby shops and restaurants, or easily explore the rest of the island - just a few steps away, the island's trolley stops by three times an hour, and you can ride free of charge.

The Key West cottage-style architecture is just part of the charm of the Anna Maria Island House. Each of the 6 units is convenient yet quaint with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and patio. Outside, enjoy landscaping of white arbors and palms. Inside, the refreshing décor complements the soothing-island feel. Florida pine floors and artwork, including paintings and sculptures, from local and other artists add a unique touch. Each unit includes air conditioning, cable television and DVD, high speed internet access, and nicely stocked kitchens.

The Anna Maria Island House is located on the corner of 100 Fourth Street and Gulf Drive South, just 2 miles north of Long Boat Key and just 4 blocks from the Cortez Bridge.

Stay at the Anna Maria Island House and you won't have just a perfect morning - you'll have a perfect vacation.

High Season!
Things are just bustling on the island!  We're halfway into our busiest time of year  So busy we haven't even posted details.  It has finally warmed up in Florida and guests are every where.  It's so good to see people up and down the multi-use trail along the beach, at all the events and openings.  There have been Art Festivals, Gallery Openings, Hertitage Days, Farmers' Markets every Saturday, weddings and reunions..  And there is more to come -

There are lots of events every week now and more in April.

April is busy with Easter Weekend and the new Hertiage Fetival:

our 1st Annual Anna Maria Island Real Florida Festival.

An All Island - All Weekend Event
To celebrate our Wonderful Old -Florida Heritage and support our FREE Island Trolley & Community Programs

Anna Maria - Bradenton Beach - Holmes Beach Friday, Saturday & Sunday April 16, 17 & 18, 2010

This is going to be a fun filled all weekend festival to help support you, our members, by raising money so the Trolley that we love can remain free to riders.

On Saturday Night there will be a "Parrot Head Dance" at the Community Center. The tickets are $10.00 and we would like for everyone to come along for dancing, Hors d'Oeuvres, Bar & Raffles.

Lot's to choose from!

Island Buzz
This is the quietest our island gets - October.  Surprisingly, last week we were all a-buzz with a full house for BayFest on Pine Avenue.  This week has been a little quieter but still a nice crowd around.  The heat has dropped a bit, and it's been a series of perfect days!

Things always get started again for season in November, with our part year friends returning and artsHop on November 14th!  Lots to look forward to now - watch for updates here and on our Face Book Fan page!

Island Life
Anna Maria Island, located just off Florida's West Coast in the Gulf of Mexico, offers a relaxing and fun environment.

Take advantage of a slow-paced, relaxed afternoon - stroll the beach, collect shells, watch the waves, or just soak up the sun. Dolphins are also known to frequent the shores - so keep your eye open!

Like to shop? Spend the day antiquing or browse the many island shops, including galleries and clothing stores. Don't miss St. Armands Circle, known for its exclusive restaurants, gift shops and boutiques.

Share a picnic lunch on the bay with the family and a romantic dinner in one of several water-side restaurants. Anna Maria's restaurants boast a broad range for every palette, from traditional seafood to "Floribbean Cuisine," which is a unique combination of American food with Caribbean and Latin influence.
